Leadership & Character | Tampa, FL

A group of Wake Foresters gathered in Tampa, Florida, on November 16, 2017, to discuss leadership and character.

We shared stories of courage, family, and integrity that were heartfelt and emotion-filled. We also recalled our best moments at Wake Forest with leaders who had a profound impact on our lives. Many in our group told stories about fathers, neighbors, friends, children and classmates.

Several themes resonated including forgiveness, positive influences, selflessness, honesty, trust, and standing up and speaking out. We related to one another through heritage, upbringing and parenting their own children. Everyone agreed that people are generally good, and that there is a ripple effect of kindness.
