Leadership & Character | Charlotte, NC

A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Charlotte, NC on April 30, 2018 to discuss Leadership & Character.

Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:

• In our evening, we talked about our family, friends and community members, and the ways they exemplified and inspired good character.
• We talked about the importance of leading an authentic life in pursuit of a higher calling or passion, developing deep relationships that invest in others and treating everyone with kindness.
• And alas, we talked about how to see and build character in others. Taking this back to Wake Forest, our ideas included encouraging students to treasure their time at Wake Forest, to live an engaged life and to develop meaningful relationships within their community.
