Leadership & Character | Hickory, NC

A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Hickory, NC on May 10, 2018 to discuss Leadership & Character.

Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:

• In our evening, we talked about our family, friends and community members, and the ways they exemplified and inspired good character.  
• We talked about the importance of humility, leading an authentic life in pursuit of a passion, developing deep relationships that invest in others and treating everyone with kindness.

• And alas, we talked about how to see and build character in others. Taking this back to Wake Forest, our ideas included encouraging students to live a humble, engaged life in pursuit of a passion and to develop meaningful relationships within their community.
