Leadership & Character | Winston-Salem, NC

A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Winston-Salem, NC on October 17, 2018 to discuss Leadership & Character.

Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:

• We all shared examples of great leadership we have witnessed including: the “Leadership” at several colleges and universities, the coming together of communities as seen with the recent hurricanes, the social and cultural events that we often attend, the kindness and determination of our youth in our schools and the places they frequent, the reminders we all share from 9-11-01, or the leadership qualities of Coach Pea Head Walker; we all contributed valuable information for the good of the evening.
• Our group characterized the evening as being: open, connecting, enriching, uplifting, riveting, encouraging, and with an open dialogue.
• We each used the “prompt” and topic we were given in a different way, but yet we found common beliefs between each of us.
