A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in New Orleans, LA on November 7, 2018 to discuss Leadership & Character.

Themes of our conversation:

• Character forms through difficult circumstances and by overcoming adversity or societal issues.
• Passing on values and encouragement to the next generation is a an active step we can take to help build character in younger generations.
• Doing the right things when it isn’t popular and no one is looking: that is a sign of character.
• We often see character in teachers, children, professors, and bosses.
