A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Midlothian, VA on February 1, 2019 to discuss Community.

Overview and highlights from our Call to Conversation:

  • One of the themes from our group seemed to be accidental (or unintentional) community … finding community in places we might not expect.
  • We discussed the point that while none of us were necessarily looking for community when we found it, we were open to being embraced by a community that made us feel welcome and included.
  • Several participants were able to make their own connections with mutual acquaintances, proving that Richmond, VA is a community in and of itself!
