Leadership & Character | Alexandria, VA
A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Alexandria, VA on February 22, 2019 to discuss Leadership & Character.
Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:
- Much of our conversation about character revolved around being ethical and doing the right thing when no one is looking.
- We talked quite a bit about the need to model good character for the children and younger adults around us, teaching them empathy for others and respect for those around them.
- We talked about those we’ve seen who lived out good character, from swim team captains, to golf coaches to parents. And we discussed the need for better communication and dialogue, especially with and among the younger generation.
