A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Winston-Salem, NC on February 4, 2019 to discuss Leadership & Character.

• Whether on a national stage or in our local everyday community, leadership starts with an individual’s courage to speak truth to power. Whether you’ll lose money, friends, or influence – it requires showing up with consistency to do the right thing.
• When you’re around people with character, you feel at home. Empathy, love, and capacity for relationship shows up through both word and deed.
• Leadership mindset: “How can I help?” vs “How can you help me?”
