Wellbeing | Baldwinsville, NY
A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Baldwinsville, New York on March 1, 2019 to discuss Wellbeing.
Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:
- Our conversation began as each of us talked about a person(s) in our lives who model wellbeing as defined as having a presence of purpose, joyful relationships and practicing self-care. We shared rich stories that included perseverance, simplicity and an attitude of quiet commitment.
- Our conversation continued and we agreed that in order to find or keep wellbeing in our lives, we must consciously disconnect, practice daily healthy habits and find things that inspire us and others.
- Longevity was a remarkable theme at the table, and many shared how inspired they are by their parent’s dedication to making life meaningful each day. As parents today, we asked if we are propelling our kids too fast to the detriment of their mental and physical health, and what does that mean for their futures?
