Wake Forest hosts a Call to Conversation dinner for undergraduates at the home of President Nathan O. Hatch on Monday, March 18, 2019.
A group of students gathered over dinner at President Hatch’s home on Monday, March 18, 2019, to discuss the topic, Wellbeing.
Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:
- We covered many topics revolving around the promotion of wellbeing in all parts of our lives, both personal and relationally with others.
- Key Points
- “put your foot down”
- Learning about others, we are all so much more closely related than we think
- Focus on what is happening, and identify what you can do to make the most out of the situation
- Altering our mindsets with stressors
- It really does not take as much time as we think to implement practices of wellbeing, but it’s important to distinguish time
