A group of Undergraduate Students and Staff from the Global Circles group gathered over dinner on Sunday, April 7, 2019, to discuss what “Home” means to them.
Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:
- Home is something different to everyone. Home can be smells, family, friends, or physical space.
- The idea of home changes over time and can be transitory.
- Home can be many places, not just one place.
- Feeling like you belong to a community may not mean you feel at home.
- You don’t have to share a language or culture to feel at home.
