Leadership & Character | Charlotte, NC
A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Charlotte, NC on April 1, 2019 to discuss Leadership & Character.
Highlights of our Call to Conversation:
- Character is shown when no one else is looking or without the expectation of being repaid.
- A person of character has moral courage and rises above obstacles. They accept responsibility for their actions and are capable of change.
- Character can be modeled for others by doing the right thing, no matter the consequences.
- We talked about the “ripple effect” of character.
- The roots of character may always be inside a person, and those roots can grow into better people and leaders.
