Leadership & Character | Plano, TX
A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Plano, TX on April 30, 2019 to discuss Leadership & Character.
Overview and Highlights of our Call to Conversation:
- Having a clear distinction about what is right or wrong can help people lead with character.
- We discussed the importance of reflecting on kind actions of others – we could all be more observant to recognize kindness.
- Our conversation included many examples of individuals in our lives who had overcome adversity, sacrificed their time or reputation, and showed that honesty is always best.
- As one participant shared: It is easy to hate an idea, but hard to hate a person. Food and conversation can help bridge the gaps between our differences and develop an understanding for others.
