A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Alumni Hall on the Reynolda Campus on April 8, 2019 to discuss Leadership & Character.

Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:

Character is shown when no one else is looking or without the expectation of being rewarded
A person of character has moral courage and is willing to sacrifice for others
It’s important to do what is right and stand up for your beliefs regardless of the consequences
The “ripple effect” of character
A visionary who can inspire others and effect change
“Esse Quam Videri” which means to “to be rather than to seem”
