A group of Wake Foresters gathered over dinner in Savannah, GA on August 15, 2018 to discuss Leadership & Character.

Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:

• We talked about athletes, presidents, teachers, and children who exemplify high quality character.
• Sacrifice, mentoring, helping others and exemplary character when no one is watching were themes shared throughout the night.
• We discussed the overwhelming importance of empathy.
• Grace and poise in high pressure situations or when dealing with life’s most difficult moments is of utmost importance in demonstrating good character.
• In leadership, and in all things, we must be committed to practicing and teaching high quality character.
