A group of Wake Foresters gathered over lunch in Winston-Salem, NC on September 6, 2018 to discuss Higher Education.

Overview and highlights of our Call to Conversation:

• We discussed the similarities in our first experiences at Wake Forest, as most of them were marked by perseverance, grit and determination.
• We also honored the differences in our experiences, as some were overwhelmingly positive and others were alienating.
• Our discussion led us to feel reaffirmed by the power of conversation to create empathy, allowing you to sit with emotion and be vulnerable yourself.
